Wow this has been a crazy weekend. We are trying to catch up on all of our work. Were making headway but it seems little gremlins have infiltrated our work flow. Nothing major just fonts seem to change to Hindi and Kanji for no reason and my ftp accounts seem to be running backwards. No worries. Want to share a really cool wedding we did in August. Oronde and Wayne have become dear friends, their Aunt Rudine had adopted me as her nephew so I was honored to be commissioned to shoot their Wedding. Rudine is my neighbor who I cherish dearly, thank you for inviting me into your family. Check out the show and enjoy.
Keep track of the blog for additional Wedding Stories from this season. Enjoy!!!

Daily update
Hey Folks;
This summer has been crazy busy. With 16 Weddings so for for the season so far, I have been focused on client relations and have not been able to feed the blog. I have decided to hire a Intern to help me with this so, I should be up and running soon. I think it's important to keep my clients, friends and family connected to my vision and what we are doing. Please check back often. In the next few days, we will begin a recap of the summer of 2008 with some really cool art and imagery. I have been so blessed to meet so many awesome couples this summer, you guys have truly touched my heart and reaffirmed why it is that I do what I do. Thank you so much.
I'm also excited to announce that I will be enrolling in the [b] school! The [b] school is a new on-line community and training opportunity for Professional Wedding Photographers that's being launched and coordinated by [b] or as I know him "Becker"http://thebecker.com/. He has to be one of the most talented photographers I have ever come across and just really good people. If I can bring 10% of what he is to the East Coast then I'm a happy man! Check him out at the link I provided and If you a professional and serious about your craft, check out the link below to the [b] school.

Hello all!!
I'ts been a crazy and fun ride this summer with lots of Weddings and more to come. I need to feed my blog more often and keep you up to date on the daily grind at the Studio.
I really want to take this opportunity to tell you...You got to check out this site.
Keith Cephus is a close colleague who I have followed for quite a few years. Over the past few years, we have established a close friendship after attending a seminar with Bambi Cantrell and Jerry Ghionis and what a way to launch a friendship.
Keith has to be the best Shooters in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia and one of the top Wedding Photographers on the East Coast if not the United States. He and his staff have been working on their new site and just went live. Check them and and send him some blog love.

Turning Point, Montgomery County, Maryland
Last week, I had the unique opportuniy to document a mural dedication ceremony in Montgomery County, Maryland. Under the direction of Arts on the Block, Artist Carien Quiroga mentored and lead a group of young Apprentice Artist to create a beautiful work of art. Carien and her talented young artist gave such a gift to the community that words can not describe it. I am so honored to have been part of this event. The mural was installed in a area that borders two Counties in Maryland, Montgomery and Prince Georges County. This area has seen it's share of Gang violence and this wall use to be prime canvas for gang graffiti. Now it is a sign that shows our community youth take stock in their community and their lives. The show on the blog is a low resolution version. If you would like a high quality DVD, drop me a e-mail and I will send you one as a gift. Please enjoy the beauty and art you are about to see.

Im so proud of my boy
18 years and 6 months ago, God blessed me with one of two greatest gifts that he has ever given to any man. On January 24, 1990 at 0325AM, my oldest son, Alex was born. On December 23, 1997 my little one, Andre Clifford was born and is my precious gift from heaven. Alex is so much like me in many ways but then again, so are both my boys but today is Alex's Day...
Alex graduated from North East High School, Pasadena, Maryland on June 09, 2008 during a 7PM ceremony at the Prince Georges County Equestrian Center. What is so cool about the kids in that school is that they are so close, clean cut and good that it makes you realize that this generation is not lost. These kids did everything right and even came back from a tragedy that was dripping with pure racism. To see this kids together really makes me proud. What really had me jumping thru the roof was that my boy played solo acoustic guitar during the finally of the graduation which was a culmination of there time at North East. They sang John Denver's "Leaving on a Jet Plane" Which had always been close to me since my time in the Air Force when I was traveling to every corner of the world. Alex Rocked it!!!!! To see my son as the solo guitarist brought tears to my eyes...I'm so proud of him.
Alex, who never ceases to amaze me, is leaving for Senior Week, Ocean City Maryland today for 7 days. He also just realized that I have a Wedding in Cape May New Jersey on Saturday this week and a Bridal Session in Rheboth Beach, Delaware the next day which is fathers day. Ocean City is 30 minutes away from Rheboth and Alex wants to take a break from the festivities of Senior Week and wants me to have lunch with him and his friends on Fathers Day in Ocean City. How cool is that!!! As allot of my close friends know, I really look up to my son and we have a very close relationship which grows stronger each day. I'm so proud of him and proud to be his dad!!! His Mom has done such an amazing job raising such an awesome man, I'm not taking this credit alone.
Alex...YOUR AWESOME!!!! and I love you.
Always, your Daddy ( sorry if that embarrassed you but you do push a cool sports car so it's ok:)..)

Im Still Here
Hello All.
It's been a wild couple of weeks and I have not fed the Blog Monster...Bad Andy...Well I will get better at this soon. I will be posting updates about what I have been doing. In short, I have shot 4 awesome weddings with 4 great couples, I hooked up with two industry heavy weights, Yervant Zanzanian from Australia and Joe Buisink from Beverly Hills, I shot a crazy, sexy cool Dental Office Grand Opening in Orlando last week and a number of other cool projects. What I will be doing this week is an update on all of these happenings. I just got back in town and have tons of back office work to get out. Talk to everyone soon. Keep checking us out, it will get better.

Technology is a good thing and sometimes bad!
Since getting back from Vegas, I have been trying to get caught up on things around the studio. Sometimes I think Microsoft likes to drive us crazy. I have been dealing with our systems running slow and just locking up all together. We will be having a tech support crew checking out our gear and getting to the bottom of the issues. Right now my creativity feels Zapped! Pray for good things to come. Have a great day.

WPPI 2008...What a Ride!!!!
Hey Everyone;
I just returned from the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International Conference in Las Vegas. I got to tell you, it was one of the best investments I have made in our studio in a long time. I attended some very valuable training from Industry leaders among the top 10 in the world! What is more important, I made some really cool new friends. One of the things I will also be doing more of is keeping this blog going. I think it is an excellent way for me to keep everyone informed of the changes we are making. Enjoy your Friday and Happy Easter.
